Hair Fixing Procedure

Hair fixing is a non-surgical Hair restoration procedure where a wig, Toupee or a hairpiece, that is attached with hair clips are clipped to the clients existing hair. This is one of the oldest methods of hairpiece attachment. In this procedure the hair unit has to be removed on a daily basis, the clips used are made of plastic and metal. Hair fixing solution is not advisable to be worn while sleeping as prolonged use of this clips can lead to traction alopecia which in turn lead to baldness area becoming bigger. Hair fixing is ideal for people who have lost most of the top and crown part of the head.
In the Norwood scale, Hair fixing is advisable from stage 2 to 3 for women and from 3 to 5 for men.



Hair fixing provides a convenient solution for those clients who would like to remove the hair system very often with ease whenever required, unlike Hair replacement that need to be removed only once in 2-3 weeks. Hair system used for Hair fixing tend to last a little bit longer than hair replacement as the amount of wear and tire on this solution is comparatively less since it only worn when required.
